Hi,
My background is primary in music composition and video production. I also did some 2D Flash animation when Flash was all the rage years ago. Now, I'm doing a mix of music and video. Plus I enjoy mixing in some 3D animation. For example, I'm now downloading some of the human animation figures from Adobe Fuse/Mixamo into C4D and adding them to video. I've been working off and on with C4D for years. I'm not a 3D artist and it is not a strength of mine, however, I've been bitten by the 3D bug and enjoy adding some of it to my work.

Most routers that support "auto" channel selection, have an option to turn that off - and maybe you've been doing that by selecting a channel, but I'd look for another setting for that. Also, it would be interesting to know if a device can connect when the SSID disappears. Many computers and mobile devices allow you to connect to "other network" or "manual" orsome such, which allows you to manually enter a SSID. That's for use with routers and APs that have SSID broadcasting turned off (which is sorta useless...). If not, the thing may be toast, or have a firmware issue, as others have suggested.
